Privacy Policy
1. General information
This policy applies to the website operating at the URL: absolutecleaning.ie
The operator of the website and the controller of personal data is: Absolute Cleaning
Operator's contact email address: office@absolutecleaning.ie
The Operator is the Controller of your personal data with respect to data provided voluntarily on the Website.
The Website uses personal data for the following purposes:
- Handling enquiries and contact
- Presenting the offer or information
The Website obtains information about users and their behaviour in the following ways:
- Through data voluntarily entered in forms, which is entered into the Operator's systems.
- Through cookie files saved on end devices.
2. Selected methods of data protection used by the Operator
Login and data-entry locations are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). As a result, personal data and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the user's device and can only be read on the destination server.
User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hash function works one-way - it is not possible to reverse it, which is the current standard for storing user passwords.
The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
To protect data, the Operator regularly performs backups.
An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of programming components.
3. Hosting
The Website is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of the operator: PrivateSystems Networks
4. Your rights and additional information on how data is used
In some situations the Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfil obligations incumbent on the Controller. This applies to such groups of recipients as service providers that support the operation of the Website.
Your personal data is processed by the Controller no longer than is necessary to carry out the activities related to it, as set out in separate regulations (e.g. on accounting). With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
You have the right to request from the Controller:
- access to the personal data concerning you,
- its rectification,
- erasure,
- restriction of processing,
- and data portability.
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purpose of pursuing the legitimate interests of the Controller, including profiling, although the right to object cannot be exercised where there are valid legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority regarding the Controller's actions.
Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the operation of the Website.
Decisions may be taken in relation to you by automated means, including profiling, in order to provide services under the concluded contract and for the purpose of the Controller's direct marketing.
Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means we do not send it outside the territory of the European Union.
5. Information in forms
The Website collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if provided.
The Website may save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
In some cases, the Website may save information that makes it easier to link the data in a form with the email address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user's email address appears within the URL of the page containing the form.
Data provided in a form is processed for the purpose arising from the function of the specific form, e.g. to handle a service request or a sales contact, register services, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly informs what it is used for.
6. Administrator logs
Information about user behaviour on the website may be logged. This data is used to administer the website.
7. Statistical analysis and interaction measurement
The Operator uses first-party, anonymous statistical analysis of website traffic. The number of page views and the number of unique visitors are measured, as well as selected interactions indicating interest in the offer: clicks on the phone number, email address, messengers (e.g. WhatsApp), links to social media, and openings of the contact form.
The measurement is carried out within the Operator's own infrastructure, without transferring data to third parties (e.g. Google Analytics is not used) and without saving cookies or any other persistent identifier on the user's end device.
The data is anonymised - the visitor's identity is reduced to a daily, irreversible hash calculated from the IP address and browser, which rotates each day, is not stored in clear form and does not allow the identification of a specific person. This data is used solely for statistical purposes and to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Website.
The legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) consisting in maintaining anonymous statistics of its own website. Because there is no access to information stored on the end device (no cookies), this measurement does not require the user's prior consent.
8. Information about cookies
The Website uses cookies.
